Garden Grove Strawberry Festival

The Garden Grove Strawberry Festival is one of the leading festivals in the area with many food booths, rides, contests and attractions. NHRA Thursday Night Thunder

Are you ready for the thrill of auto racing? Come out to the Irwindale Event Center tonight or any and every Thursday night for NHRA Thursday Night Thunder. The action starts at 5:00 PM with the gates opening at 4:00 PM. Tickets are just $10 for spectators. If you are really adventurous, you can enter to race your own vehicle for just $20 at the Irwindale Dragstrip. The drag racing action continues for 5 hours until 10:00 PM.

Wild For the Planet

In the wake of industrial development around the world, the Los Angeles Zoo’s “Wild for the Planet” event aims to create awareness about endangered animal species through fun and informative activities for the whole family. This year’s event, which runs through Endangered Species Day, May 19, will focus on various aspects of conservation each day. The Wild for the Planet event is part of ZooLAbration, which celebrates the rich 50 year history of the zoo and its many historical milestones and conservation achievements.

The Neil Papiano Play Park

Giraffe Feedings
