July 11th, 2017

Looking for last-minute dinner plans that the whole family can enjoy? Come on out to Highland Park tonight for the weekly EAT at Fig, a food truck extravaganza you don’t want to miss. With a wide variety of styles huddled together in one venue, there’s something for everyone at EAT at Fig!
EAT at Fig is a free community event that began in 2011 as a way to bring together the citizens of Highland Park. Held at Good Shepherd School every Tuesday evening from 5pm to 8:30, the event highlights not only the area’s best food truck cuisine, but also the bustling but tight-knit community of Highland Park.

Over the last six years, EAT at Fig has featured cuisines ranging from Korean Fusion to Southern Comfort Food, Indian Street Fare to fresh lobster, and included every type of taco you can imagine. Whether you’re yearning for an old favorite or looking to expand your culinary horizons, EAT at Fig and you won’t be disappointed.

If you’re looking to explore the iconic and diverse culture of Highland Park, EAT at Fig is a great introduction to the welcoming atmosphere that permeates the neighborhood. In many ways, Highland Park is like a small-town within the Los Angeles area, allowing residents the unique opportunity of living in the midst of urbanity while retaining the comforts and security of a small town.
