Garden Grove Strawberry Festival

The Garden Grove Strawberry Festival is one of the leading festivals in the area with many food booths, rides, contests and attractions. Also, visitors to the Strawberry Festival will be able to enjoy hundreds of arts and crafts, celebrity demos, and so many fun activities for the whole family! This year’s Garden Grove Strawberry Festival is the ideal summer kickoff.

Now in its 59th year, the Garden Grove Strawberry Festival is held every Memorial Day weekend. At this annual festival, you can enjoy a wide range of activities, including live entertainment, and the finest strawberries California has to offer. Due to its growing popularity, the festival will take place on three consecutive days. So get ready for loads of uninterrupted fun!

Friday hours start at 1 pm and end at 10 pm. On Saturday and Sunday, events take place from 10 am to 10 pm, while Monday’s opening is at 10 am and the gates close at 9 pm. So whether you are attending alone or with friends and loved ones, get ready for three days of great fun. Veterans will also be honored at the Garden Grove Strawberry Festival, which will take place at the Village Green between Main Street and Euclid Avenue in Garden Grove.

This highly popular berry-tasty festival promises a lot of family entertainment set against the magnificent scenery in Garden Grove. Attendees to this festival can expect plenty of sweet surprises, ranging from live music and a beer tent to gourmet grub, popular sports, country markets, short entertainment shows, a bike race and a kids’ play park. And of course, there will definitely be plenty of activities based on the juicy red fruit. These include strawberry eating contests, educational tours and talks, and berry, beer and wine pairing, among many others. Visitors to the festival will be able to take part in the popular strawberry hedge maze, with the opportunity to get lost in this amazing fruit!

Those who come to the Strawberry Festival can also go out to the field and pick their own fabulous red gems to eat at home later on. Pre-picked strawberries are also available for sale. This family-friendly festival also includes a spacious outdoor children’s park with paddle boats, exciting inflatables, bubble ball, go-carts, a soft play zone for toddlers, a wooden playground, train rides, and free ice cream and strawberry eating competitions.
