Mount Washington Made

September 21st, 2017

This Saturday, September 23, is the annual Mount Washington Made Craft Fair, a chance to explore local East Los Angeles talent, grab items for your closet and home, and show your support for the Mount Washington School District! This is one craft fair you don’t want to miss.

If you’re just moving to the Northeast LA area, planning a move in the near future, or simply looking to spice up the decor you already have, Mount Washington Made is the perfect opportunity to bring unique pieces of decor into your home while getting to know the area, supporting local artists, and knowing you’ll have a positive effect on the community.

In addition to fashion pieces for both adults and children, at Mount Washington Made, you will find a variety of handmade household products to spark intrigue in your decor. Find gorgeous paintings, ceramics and pottery, and eye-catching accessories such as jewelry and handbags. You can even pick up high-quality handmade furniture from Ply by Mount Washington Elementary parents Poonam Sharma and Ali Jeevanjee.

With the diverse range of crafts you will find at this fair, there is one thread which ties all of these artisans together: claiming home in Mount Washington, and a desire to give back to their community. More information on Mount Washington Made is available at:
