Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Urzua joined The Olson Company in 2004 and oversees the financial management of the company including financial reporting, investor relations and long-range capital planning. He is responsible for managing relationships with the company’s financial partners and raising corporate and project level debt and equity. Prior to being named Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Urzua held the position of Senior Vice President of Finance for The Olson Company.
Mr. Urzua previously was the Chief Financial Officer for GreenPark Group, a Warburg Pincus venture. He spent three years with Colony Capital, Inc/Colony Advisors, Inc., where he was responsible for the financial reporting for two private equity real estate partnerships with net assets in excess of $1.6 billion. He also worked for Coopers & Lybrand, LLP, providing professional services to a number of clients in various industries.
A resident of Rossmoor, Mr. Urzua is a Certified Public Accountant (license inactive) and received a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and an M. B. A. from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
