What a year it’s been! As we wrap up 2025, we are reflecting on the new communities we opened, the milestones we celebrated and the families who made an Olson Homes neighborhood their own. Each community we build adds to our story of connection, comfort and everyday living across Southern California.
This year, we were also honored to receive ‘The Eliant Award’ for Overall Home Purchase and Ownership Experience for the 6th consecutive year and the 10th time since 2013, a recognition of our continued commitment to exceptional homeowner experiences. Read more about our 2025 Eliant wins here.

2025 Community Highlights
Descanso Walk — Claremont
Descanso Walk Descanso Walk opened in March of this year, bringing a fresh sense of possibility to Claremont. With a mix of thoughtfully designed townhomes, modern flats, and our standout Home Office Suite plan, it’s a community built for flexibility—whether you’re working from home, starting a new chapter, or simply looking for a comfortable space that fits your lifestyle.

Sage Walk — Torrance
Sage Walk made its debut in May with spacious floorplans and a highly convenient South Bay location near major employers, local amenities, and the 405. The community has drawn a range of buyers who value flexible layouts and proximity to everything the South Bay offers.

Tesoro Walk — Downey
Tesoro Walk opened in July, introducing modern gated townhomes to one of LA County’s most centrally located and vibrant cities. With thoughtfully designed homes and a location close to shops, parks, and Downey favorites, the community has gained momentum quickly and is selling fast — over 50% sold out already.
We welcomed our Phase 1 homeowners in November as they settled into their new homes and community. Phase 2 homes will be ready this spring, and our final phase is beginning construction this month, giving buyers one last opportunity to join this growing neighborhood.

2025 Sold-Out Communities
Rose Walk — Garden Grove
Rose Walk opened in June and blossomed into one of our standout moments of 2025. This intimate collection of 15 single-family homes brought 15 new families into a quiet corner of Garden Grove, surrounded by local parks and longtime neighborhood favorites.
This community sold out by September, and the transformation from a new build to a lived-in street has been truly special to watch.
Sycamore Walk — Compton
Sycamore Walk recently sold out and welcomed 57 new families, transforming the neighborhood into a vibrant, close-knit community. Designed as a gated enclave of modern townhomes with shared community amenities, it offered an attainable path to homeownership in LA County, something that resonated with first-time homebuyers and growing households alike. We’re looking forward to our close-out celebration with all of our homeowners later this month!
Vista Walk — La Habra
Vista Walk, home to 117 families, quickly grew into a vibrant neighborhood with modern townhomes and community spaces including The Lawn, The Picnic, The Lounge, The Court, and The Wag. It’s a true example of how shared spaces bring neighbors together — and this month, we proudly celebrated the completion of the community with our homeowners. It was a wonderful reminder of the friendships formed here and the welcoming, connected lifestyle that makes Vista Walk so special..
Bixby Walk — Long Beach
Bixby Walk closed out in 2025 and became a favorite for its walkability and charm. Set in the heart of Bixby Knolls, it offered modern, low-maintenance living in one of Long Beach’s most charming neighborhoods with easy access to the shops, eateries, and everyday fun along Atlantic Avenue.
What’s Coming in 2026
Tierra Walk — Cypress
Grand Opening Spring 2026
Excitement is already building for Tierra Walk, a gated community of 20 townhomes coming soon to a prime Cypress location. Thoughtfully designed for modern living, this neighborhood will offer new, low-maintenance townhomes close to everything locals love, including parks, shops, great schools, and the convenience of nearby dining and everyday essentials. It is a rare opportunity to enjoy a brand-new home in a city where opportunities like this do not come around often. The Grand Opening is planned for spring 2026, and the countdown has officially begun.

Madera Walk — Cypress
Grand Opening Summer 2026
Another Cypress neighborhood will make its debut in 2026. Madera Walk, opening in the summer, will feature a new collection of beautiful townhomes located near Tierra Walk. Future homeowners can look forward to the Live Better features, modern design, and Style Studio personalization options that Olson buyers have come to know and love. More details will be shared as the community gets closer to opening.
Uptown Walk — Whittier
Grand Opening Summer 2026
Located in historic Uptown Whittier, Uptown Walk will offer a gated enclave of 40 homes just steps from cafes, restaurants, parks, and the lively Uptown district. The area’s walkability and welcoming feel make it a standout location for a new community.
